Blood orange whiskey sour

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 oz. bourbon whiskey

  • 1 oz. Appel’s Blood Orange Cordial

  • Orange peel for garnish

Instructions

  1. Add liquid ingredients to a shaker tin filled ⅔ with ice.

  2. Shake hard for ice shards and more melt; shake lightly for less.

  3. Strain into chilled couple or iced rocks glass.

  4. Garnish with an orange peel.

Options

  • Add angostura bitters to taste

  • Sub cognac/brandy for bourbon
